It was the captivating world of fairy tale illustrations, particularly by Trina Schart Hyman and Kinuko Y. Craft, which first inspired Leandra’s love of art. Now the art of Italian cathedrals and renaissance masters have only added to that ever widening source of inspiration.

Leandra studied theology at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom college in Ontario and Sacred Art at The Sacred Art School in Florence. She grew up in Ohio and is currently based in northern Kentucky with a small home studio overlooking the Ohio River. 

She has experience in many different mediums and especially loves to work in oil and in pencil, specializing in religious art, portraits, and illustrations.
